As everybody needs to go through heartbreak once
in their life, life didn’t spare me too.
I had my own part of pain, sorrow and teary eyes, I smiled through pain, I felt
the ach so deep in my heart.
I sometimes find it so hard to describe how bad
it did hurt, but I can assure you dear readers that it was so devastating.
On my path of moving on and fixing the pieces of
my broken heart, I’ve tried everything that came to my mind, from letting out
the outcry to faking the strength, all I wanted is not to feel the pain
anymore.
I filled my time, but still wasn’t enough. I
cried my eyes out, screamed, slept whole days. I went out with friends, I
talked to myself, I listened to podcasts, and read books… I did everything.
Books, yes books, they were my wakeup call,
taking me from darkness to light,
This pushed me to make a series of my favorite
books that I’ve read
For me they were a must read books.
Starting with the first book,
“ the strength in our scars” by BIANCA SPARACINO
152 pages. First
published September 6, 2018
This is a beautiful book of short passages about
inner strength. I read 7-10 each day which was a beautiful addition to my day.
It is a bunch of small quotes of self-love and the path into healing, showing
you that all the battles you take are winning ones.
This book reminds you of life basics, and how it
is meant to be sometimes, and namely that it’s absolutely normal and okay to
feel this way.
I still open it on a random page and read it
from time to time, it’s like a friend reminding you that you are not alone,
that no matter how harsh life might get it will be okay one day. It’s the hug
you needed that moment, the comfort you longed for, and the caressing hands you
wish were by your side.
Something we all know but tend to forget, that
all the messiness of life is passenger, that life is made by ups and downs, and
happiness has no meaning without days of sorrow, as winning is more palpitating
when preceded by failure.
It will push you to understand that you are
responsible for your healing, you deserve the love, the attention and respect.
True love will find its way to you. You are not going to live always in the
chaos, you’ll figure it out.
And dear, remember you can still find strength
in weakness, home in your scars, and new beginnings in endings.
A boss book.
A testament of wills and an embracement of our pain. Because without our pasts
and faults we would not be who we are today.
It was a lovely book, easy read, I recommend it
for those who feel lonely, heart broker, or not okay. Those who lost meaning of
life.
And a final message from me to you,
dear beautiful readers, we’ve all been there once, maybe more. And I know how
bad it hurts, I can feel you, I understand your feelings, I know that you are
suffocating, but talking to you from the other edge of the bridge, I
garantee you that you'll make it to the other part, keep moving.
You are not alone, you are loved, you matter.
